Keep your account on a new phone

Step by step

   Open Settings

   Tap your initial at the top right of the Timeline, then Settings. If you joined with an invite code, a reminder says a new phone would need a re-join code.

   Add your email

   Tap Verify, type your email address and tap Send code. Or tap Use my Google account instead.

   Enter the code

   Type the six digits from the email. Settings now shows your email address.

4. 4

   On the new phone

   Tap Get started, then “Already have an account? Sign in”. Use the same email address, and your album opens.
