How to use Yaadgaar · 7 of 11

Find any photo with Look back

Tap Look back on the timeline and pick one of your circle’s festivals, or search any festival by name, to see it year by year. Or pick a date, like a birthday, or a place your photos were taken. Photos from those days still on your phone can be added right there.

Step by step

  1. By festival

Tap Look back on the Timeline. Your circle’s festivals are listed with what the album holds from each. Tap one, such as Holi, to see it year by year. To find another festival, type its name in the search box.

  2. By date

Choose A date and pick the day and the month. You see that day in every year: a birthday, an anniversary.

  3. By place

Choose A place and search where the photos were taken. You see every visit.

  4. Add what is still on your phone

If photos from those days are on your phone and not in the album, Yaadgaar says how many. Tap Add and they upload on their own.
