Step by step

  1. Start from a card

At the top of the Timeline, under “Days worth keeping”, are cards for a festival just gone, a trip, or last month. Tap Make yaadein on one.

  2. Leave out what you do not want

The photos are already chosen: the ones in the album, under “In Yaadgaar”, and the ones still on your phone, under “On your phone”. Tap any photo to leave it out.

  3. Name, paper and cover

The name is already filled in; change it if you like. Pick the paper, 4R or A4, and a photo for the cover. Then tap Make yaadein.

  4. Wait while it is made

The Yaadein tab shows “On its way” while the phone’s photos go up, then “Making it now”. You can leave the app while this happens.

  5. Open the book

The book lands on your shelf. Open it to turn the pages. Its menu has Watch for the video, Save for the PDF, and Share.
